Since 2008.Experience built through projects.
We began by building homes. We grew through grain storage projects, agricultural construction and irrigation infrastructure. This is the story of Beavers.
- 2008
The beginning, in Timișoara.
Beavers was founded in 2008 by Bogdan Marin, then a third-year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Politehnica University Timișoara. We began by building homes at a time when the economic crisis would put the entire construction sector to the test. Those early years taught us to adapt, manage resources carefully and build trust through the work we deliver.
- 2011–2013
The first experience in grain storage.
Between 2011 and 2013, alongside his work at Beavers, Bogdan Marin also managed another construction company. This experience introduced him to the development of grain storage facilities. In that role, he coordinated a silo project with a capacity of 15,000 tonnes in 2011.
- 2013–2016
A specialism developed on site.
From 2013, the design and construction of agricultural storage facilities became a growth area for Beavers. The first silo designed by the company that year was built in 2014–2015. Two further silo projects followed in 2015–2016, with a combined capacity of over 35,000 tonnes. Depending on the project, our scope included silo assembly or both civil works and assembly. We gradually specialised in this field while continuing our residential construction work.
- 2018–2020
New sectors. New markets.
In 2018, we broadened our experience into the oil industry by completing the infrastructure and site preparation for an onshore well pad within a short timeframe. That year we also began expanding into Germany through Beavers Construction Germania, with operations starting in 2019. The pandemic in 2020 affected this activity, and we refocused our attention on projects in Romania.
- 2021–2026
Closer to the needs of agriculture.
The period from 2021 to 2026 brought numerous agricultural projects: grain storage facilities, silos and livestock buildings. Through this work, we deepened our understanding of how farms operate and how buildings and equipment support a client's day-to-day activities.
In 2021, this close relationship with agriculture also led us into irrigation. We entered the sector to offer farmers more comprehensive services and make a practical contribution to local irrigation infrastructure. Since then, we have designed and built irrigation systems, including projects developed entirely by our own team.
We see the investment as a whole.
Today, our approach at Beavers starts with understanding the investment as a whole. We consider construction, workflows, equipment and budget together, so that the proposed solutions can be implemented and meet the client's needs.
We want to keep growing alongside Romanian agriculture. We know there is always room to improve, and we invest in expertise, equipment and our capacity to see projects through. Our ambition is to become a benchmark in our field through the quality of our work and the trust of those who choose to work with us.
